Mortal Deity

The game jam for Albright College this time was Retro so with a deep love for old school RPGs and TTRPGs the project that came out of my brain this go 'round has a lot more in store than I could get done. Mortal Deity is going to be a classic Dungeon Crawler similar to Eye Of The Beholder, as of what I could release for the competition it is a sliver of what is to come, but I followed my concept the whole time and have more planned for after the competition. The game is currently without any music or sound though I plan on making and adding those myself in the future. All sprites were made by me.

When a world full of Gods and Goddesses that give function to the natural forces has their deities stripped of their immortality, what will become of it all when they begin to pass? The God of Death smiles wide, trickery is able to be smelled in the air, and their temple seems to grow every day...

Controls are W and S to move forwards or back on the grid then A and D to turn and face a cardinal direction. Mouse is used to click on buttons in combat and interact with the environment in future environments and puzzles.
